Our Services

Consultation.

Have an idea, or want to start one?  This exclusive by appointment service is the beginning of your entire design experience.  Many prospective clients use this service as the first step to determine how their landscape evolves, and is often the first step in creating a full-scale design.  For about an hour, clients will walk the property with Tim to discuss their needs as he helps to creatively brainstorm many different ideas and options of the prospective space.  Proper plantings are discussed based on numerous factors such as growth size, sunlight requirements, color, shape, and biological impact. Clients are actively engaged in this process, and can take notes as Tim offers insight, ideas, and educational info to help clients choose what works best for them.  Projects typically range from small foundation plantings, and can be as large as entire property makeovers.

Unsure if you need a consultation?  Ask yourself the following questions below.  If you answer “yes” to any of the following, then a consultation would be best suited for your inquiry.

Do you want advice on existing plantings or layouts?  Perhaps areas are too sparse, too overgrown, or outdated, and need to know how to best utilize the specific areas for improvement. Perhaps the hardscaping is not aesthetically pleasing, and needs re-designing.

Do you want a smaller DIY project, but need professional help to create a basic idea of a general layout with some plant selections without the need of a full-scale design?

Do you want a full-scale design of specific areas, but need collaborative advice first?

Design.

This is where all collaborative thoughts are put to paper.  Referred to as a base map, for the first time, you’ll begin to see the layout of the bird’s eye view blueprint to scale for any areas of interest.  This can be very small scale, or on a much larger scale.  Designs can be tailored to be in simple black and white, or colorized if you want more in depth visualization.  Colorizing designs help with the visualization and determining the overall flow of plantings and spaces.  Ultimately, clients will either receive a printed base map, or an electronic file that can be printed based upon whether a follow up visit is required to review the design.  Though all projects do not require a design for professional installation, you may choose to commission a design for your own DIY purposes.  However, a design may be required for larger or more complex projects.  It is a very simple, and worthwhile process.

Installation.

We’ve arrived at the final step. This is where the excitement begins as the last stage of the process becomes a reality.  “Out with the old and in with the new” as they say.  This is where the brainstorming and ideas come to fruition.  Through thoughtful planning, you’ll begin to see the construction process take shape and come to finish.  Once completed, you’ll be amazed at the difference your landscaping project has made.  Perhaps for the first time in a long time, you’ll be super proud of the difference in the looks of your home, and the value that your planning has added.  As the seasons progress into the near future, you be even more satisfied as your plantings evolve to maturity.  Ultimately, this is what you’ve been waiting for.
