A designers hello.
Hi there, I’m Tim Justin, thanks for giving me a look!
The truth is, like many professions, becoming an actual landscape designer is not something you just fall into. A designer typically has a lifelong background associated with the arts in many different forms of media, constantly in pursuit of creative outlets, forever looking to hone their skillset. However, being artistic in some creative outlet does not automatically make you a professional designer. It takes higher level education to hone those skillsets, immersing yourself in study, and mastering your core abilities to become a very well-rounded talent. What makes a landscape design professional so unique is the education they obtain, combined with their artistic nature. It’s a fine line, dancing between art, and science. Often times, many new clients are looking to improve the quality and value of their landscaping by mistakenly seeking un-qualified help. For example, anyone with a shovel can put random plants into the ground, but that does not make them a landscape designer, the same way anyone can take an aspirin for a headache, but that does not make them a doctor. I’ve obtained a degree in horticultural science, as well as certifications in landscape design and others. I continue to stay up to date on trends and other related studies through educational seminars and trade shows.
If you’re ready to go for that project you’ve been waiting on, then let’s work together on it!
Best,
-Tim Justin
